Something has gone horribly wrong

Can someone still remember the times when backdoors were not required to have functional locks ? Kids and mom waving goodbye in the front yard as dad drove to work in his sedan ?

When mom drove a full size station wagon to accommodate kids, groceries, shopping and comfortably sit her rustling petticoats ?

Typical 1950's housewife.
Have you got a clue on how a pretty white apron looks over a homecoming dress swirling in the kitchen ? Do you even know how an apron or homecoming dress look like ?

All on a single common paycheck ?

Back to reality. Those times are long gone. To the point of new generations not even being able to understand their past existence.

Feminists took over.

Women are now freed from slavery.

Free to be active revenue contributors because, the way things have turned, dad's paycheck won't last past the 20th of each month.

Free to barely have the time to don jeans, t-shirt, stuff the kids to school in a subcompact car. Free to fix their makeup at traffic lights on their rush to work.

Free to lay elaborate plans on how to split the evening between fixing a quick meal and bathing the kids while dad scrubs the kitchen...

Freedom, as good as it gets, so good that it hurts.

What has gone wrong, so horribly wrong ?

Vocal protest movements are self-promotion pyramidal scheme scams.

High-end nomenclature is guaranteed quick access to sizeable social benefits, notoriety and politics being the most sought after.

Marching feminist protester.
Political gurus are not required to improve the quality of life of their supporters. There are no objective instruments implemented to gauge their achievements. Nor hold them accountable for failures.

The holy grail of all dream jobs.

Skyrocketing electrical bills are another evidence of what happens when living on earth was downgraded by political activism to an irrelevant status while save-the-earth utopias mutated in enforced by laws priorities.

Feminists hold offices all over. For some it became a well paid job without hassling qualification requirements.

All it took was to destroy the image of femininity, all over, and they have demonstrated excellence in doing so.

Downgrading the housewife role down to just another name for slavery.

Obliterating the prime importance and responsibilities of women as fundamental family pillars.

Degrading the extreme usefulness of the housewife profession.

Throwing women out of their families at the mercy of already saturated job markets.

So far so good, time to trigger the next level global profits. Eradicate glamour.

Who needs dresses, girdles, waspies, corsets, stockings, slips, petticoats and such ? All torture instruments imposed by male dominance ? Who can afford the time to be glamourous on a daily schedule just to please the males ?

Imported cheaply sewn jeans, standard sized press-formed bras and T-shirts can be sold at much higher mass profit margins. Leaving the luxury sector free to charge at will for anything even slightly out of the common mold.

Two rabbits, one stone as the saying goes... Poor rabbits.

No wonder most modern Ladies appear hindered on formal dress occasions. They have been transformed in female-to-female cross-dressers..

  1. You got things BADLY wrong.
It wasn't feminists who took over and changed everything over the past 50 years.
It was post World War 1 women having to become independent of the servant classes. The modern kitchen and other household appliances are all to make the household be able to function without the servant classes.
It was post World War 2 women realising that they LIKED being able to have a meaningful job, instead of being stuck at home. Over time the wife working became mandatory and not optional, as corporations yanked the inflation chain harder and harder, while jamming REAL wage rises.

Single common pay cheque keeping a household going for the month? That was long dead and buried BEFORE I was born

By the time I was born in the mid 1960s, back door locks were effectively mandatory.

Kids and mum waving good-bye to dad as he drove the family car to his work, never happened in reality, despite it being shown on US TV shows shown here in Australia. Reality here was my sister and I being dropped off at school, with mum and dad then driving the car to their respective places of work.

Women being able to wear what they wanted, outside of the dictates of Fashion and Society, that came into accepted normality over the course of the 1960s. Women LIKED being able to be comfortable in what they wore, instead of being REQUIRED to be uncomfortable to please Fashion.

    1. Jen Dear... Thanks for the contribution ;)

Where I leave back in the seventies we didn't even care to lock our cars. The best way not to loose your keys.

Later cops started to issue tickets on cars parked with the ignition key left in place.

Till about year 2000 most back doors were never locked. Home insurance never checked their function. It was a widely accepted practice, kids could come and go at will.

Most families lived on a single paycheck and mom drove the kids to school unless (my case) that was just a block away.

Feminists and eco-feminists were massively recruited amongst post-hippie post-Vietnam crowds and incorporated to the cause by visuals such as burning bras ceremonies.

War (WW2) effort ladies gave up their unmentionables by lack of rubber. Then they caught massively back in the fifties.

Post seventies eco-feminists claimed "burn bras not oil" and alike. I am documenting a post on that occasion, priceless photos ;)

An entire generation of de-gendered women was thrown on the streets.

Femininity became synonym of oppression and glamour of capitalism.

      Hugs Dear, you're always welcome,

      I love you all ;)
